biggest being 13 pounds 12 ounces caught in late May.
1999 While John was in the top 40 for the classic for
F.L.W.
2000 Was a interesting year with LOTS of bass. Walk In
the Water got hotter than a firecracker and with the
right knowledge big Florida Bass was the results.
2001 Walk In the Water continue to be HOT and so was
Lake Toho breaking numerous BASS records including most
fish over ten pounds and biggest single and four day
total. John's clients enjoyed many of the same results
as did the Top 150 Pros with many fish over 10 pounds.
John started teaching the National Teen Anglers Program
in Kissimmee/Saint Cloud and embraced the opportunity to
pass on the knowledge he has accumulated to part of the
next generation of fishermen.
2002 Toho still yielding many giant Florida bass for
John's clients including a 12 pound 12 ounce and a 14
pound 14 ounce monster for a 9 year old that will be a
personal record that will be hard to beat. John also not
only continue to teach in the National Teen Anglers
Program but took on a Board Member position to help the
program grow to other Counties and States to give more
teens the opportunity to get involved.
BASSMASTER Magazine has quoted John in several articles
since 1996 including his monthly reports on the bass
patterns and best fishing techniques for Lake Kissimmee.
John has been featured three times on television shows
teaching fishing techniques.
John has done numerous in-store promotions, workshops
and seminars for companies such as Culprit, Trilene,
Bomber Baits, Flambeau Tackle Boxes, Gambler Worms,
Triple Fish Line and Ranger Boats.
John teaches classes and is a team leader for
National
Teen Anglers. Teens need to be given the opportunity to
learn the details of fishing and in today's times. There
is also a great need for mentors. John gives his time to
NTA to give back to the sport.
